Each task has a price associated with it, which your electrician will add together to arrive at your total. I have asked our electricians to give me ballpark prices in the past, and they usually answer with a long list of questions that they need answered before they can give a price. Until our electrician sees your electrical project, they won’t give a ballpark price.
Most ballpark prices are guesses. Another company might give a range that they hope will cover the cost of doing the job. Most of the time, they have to come back and ask for more money. Our experience has shown that a ballpark price is usually outside someone’s best interest.
We have a small dispatch fee to send our electrician to your home. Our electricians will arrive in a truck stocked with thousands of parts. Unless the situation is very unusual, our electricians will have everything they need to start same-day service for your electrical project at home after giving their assessment and quote. They’ll thoroughly evaluate your electrical system and explain what they’ll need to do to complete the work you called for. We do not charge you by the hour; we will give you a total price, with options, before any work begins.
For certain large electrical projects, we are willing to provide a free quote and assessment of your options: show you what options are available to you: projects involving basement finishes, electrical meters/panels, heat cable, solar, generators, etc. This is a partial list of services that qualify for free quotes, so call us if you have questions about your project.
You will pay a little more to have an electrician come to your home after hours, but they do not charge more for the work you want them to perform. Our prices come directly from our pricing guide. We do not have a different set of electrical prices for work in the evenings or on weekends; regardless of the time of day, the cost of your electrical service will remain the same.
You can pay for your electrical service with cash, check, or any major credit card. We collect, in full, upon completion of the project.
